Dr. Matthew Reed was born and raised in the suburbs of Kansas City. He attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree in business. Shortly after, He completed his veterinary degree at Kansas State, graduating in 2019. After working in a small animal practice for 3 years in Arizona, he and his wife decided to move to the Pacific Northwest. His family consists of his wife, Megan, and 2 dogs, a great pyrenees mix named Jack and a schnoodle named Tallulah. His veterinary interests include internal medicine and dentistry. Outside of the office, he looks forward to exploring the surrounding area and continuing his journey to see all the US national parks.

Dr. Barton grew up near Las Vegas, Nevada. It was here he became interested in becoming a veterinarian while raising a guide dog puppy in high school. After graduating with a degree in Biology from UNLV. He received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1993. After veterinary school he moved to Southern Nevada, where he practiced for 27 years. He enjoys the challenge of keeping current with the latest in medicine. When he’s not at work he enjoys cycling, fly fishing or spending time with his family and their two dogs Jago and Cheerio.

Ashley, raised in Bend, has had a lifelong passion for animals. Since she was a young girl, she knew she wanted to be around them, caring for them and advocating for their well-being. She finds fulfillment in working alongside pet parents to build lasting connections and provide compassionate care for their beloved pets. Stepping into a leadership role has created many opportunities for Ashley to support both pets and the people who care for them in meaningful ways. She is also passionate about creating a fun, supportive workplace for the staff members who she cares for deeply.

Raised in the scenic town of Bend, Oregon, Andrea has always had a deep connection with animals. With over four years of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant, she brings both compassion and skill to every patient interaction. Whether assisting in surgery, providing routine care, or comforting anxious pet owners, Andrea is known for her calm and cool demeanor and dedication to animal well-being. At home, life is delightfully chaotic with five beloved cats, each with their own personality and story. Andrea’s passion for animal care continues to grow, fueled by a lifelong love for furry companions and a strong commitment to the veterinary field.

Originally from Germany, Ines brings several years of experience in veterinary care to the team. Her calm demeanor and strong attention to detail make her a trusted support for both pets and their owners. Outside of work, Ines enjoys horseback riding and running outdoors, staying active and connected with nature. At home, she shares her space with two beloved cats who keep her on her toes and remind her daily why she loves what she does.

Riley is passionate about caring for animals and feels grateful to work in a field that allows her to help pets feel safe, loved and comfortable. In her free time, she loves playing volleyball, hiking trails, camping, and going on adventures with her loved ones. At home Riley shares life with her loyal Akita Ranger, and Piper her lab who she cares for daily.

Marrisa, born and raised in San Diego, moved to beautiful Bend, Oregon to begin her adulthood. Mariss lives with their five beloved cats and a loving partner. With a deep passion for all animals, she truly enjoys working with them. Marissa is excited to meet your beloved pets and create the best experience possible for them!

Lexi has a strong passion for animals and a commitment to creating positive experiences for both pets and their families. She has lived in Michigan, Colorado, and now Oregon – each place has shaped her professional experience with animals, people, and grew her love for the outdoors. At home, she’s a dog parent to two amazing pups who keep her life fun and a little bit chaotic (in the best way). She enjoys being part of a field where she can combine her love for animals and helping people with meaningful, everyday interactions!
